teppanyaki grill cleaning is a snap with a little water and Barkeepers Friend
All residues can easily be cooked off by pouring a little water around the cooking center while it is still warm (compare to cleaning  your stainless cookware bringing water to a boil).

Use a non-scratch straight-edge spatula (for us wood works best) to carefully loosen the residues bit by bit and then wipe off the remains.

To eliminate the last traces (if any) use a non-scratch small cleaning sponge on the COLD surface. WORK COMPLETE SURFACE WITH THE GRAIN of the metal, never in circles. Only apply very little pressure.

For heavy duty jobs add a small amount of "Barkeeper's Friend" to the water, thus making a paste, or use as directed on the package. Wipe off all remains with paper towels and water.

To remove whitish "blind spots" or bluish heat discolorations, cut a lemon in half, squeeze lightly and wipe the cold surface with the cut side of the lemon.
Cleaning + maintaining your
CND Teppanyaki Grill Griddle is super-easy
Clean with a little water and shine using a few drops of plain vegetable oil and a paper towel or soft rag. You can even use a quick spritz of non-stick cooking spray applied directly to the surface, or simply spray your paper towel to avoid overspray.

Cook-N-Dine is manufactured in Germany using type 304, German stainless steel, one of the best alloys available worldwide which does not rust when properly maintained. However, with outdoor use or when you live near water, where the air contains a lot of moisture or salt, minor oxidation can occur over time.

GENERAL MAINTENANCE
To prevent a reaction of the metal, maintain it well and clean regularly to remove all dirt particles because they can harm even stainless steel over time. Never use regular steel pads, wire brushes or scrapers because they will destroy the invisible shield against corrosion. Never use chlorine bleach, cleaners containing chlorine bleach or any other household acids, as those  will break down the metal’s stainless feature.
