What exactly is Teppanyaki?
Perhaps you have heard the word "teppanyaki" in conversation or while watching a TV Commercial advertising a local Japanese restaurant, but don't really know what it means and were curious about the origin.
A teppan grill has a large solid surface which eliminates the need for the chef to cook food in separte vessels, thus allowing all ingredients to be cooked at the same time, or successively. Depending on the selection from guests seated around the teppan grill, a chef will usually cook steak, lobster, scallops, shrimp, chicken, rice, noodles, egg and vegetables with different sauces.
The Cook-N-Dine® Teppanyaki Grill has been developed by innovative food people with a passion for cooking and entertaining. It is a versatile cooking "platform" to communicate a modern message by connecting people through food. A Cook-N-Dine® Teppanyaki Grill appliance effortless complements indoor and outdoor kitchens. It is a social, fun, healthy way to cook for family and friends on a daily basis, be it breakfast, lunch or dinner.
